Delete Your AtoZMINES Account

This page explains how you can request deletion of your AtoZMINES account and the data associated with it. It also describes what data will be deleted, what we may retain, and for how long. These practices apply to AtoZMINES on the web and to our Android app listed on Google Play.


How to request account deletion

You can request deletion by sending an email to our support address from your registered email.

Send your request to: contact@atozmines.com

Email subject: Account Deletion Request – AtoZMINES

Include the following in your email:

  • Your full name
  • Your AtoZMINES ID (e.g., CNDXXXXXXXXXX) and/or registered mobile number
  • Registered email address
  • Optional: Reason for deletion

To protect your account, we may verify your request (for example, by sending a one-time password (OTP) to your registered email or phone). If we are unable to verify ownership, we will let you know what additional information is required.


What happens after you request deletion
  • Acknowledgment: We acknowledge your request within 72 hours.
  • Processing time: We aim to complete account deletion within 7–30 days, depending on the data associated with your account and any legal/operational requirements.
  • Irreversibility: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose access to your profile, purchases, saved items, chat history, applications, uploaded files, and any other account-linked features.

Data that will be deleted
  • Profile information (name, photo, gender, date of birth, addresses)
  • Account credentials and identifiers stored by AtoZMINES (hashed password, internal IDs)
  • Education, certifications, resume and portfolio uploads, project entries
  • Applications, saved jobs, comments/replies you posted (content may be anonymized where direct deletion breaks threads)
  • Test history and attempts where deletion does not impact other users’ records
  • In-app preferences and settings

Note: Some items you posted publicly (e.g., forum topics, comments) may be deleted or anonymized (e.g., shown as “Deleted User”) to preserve the integrity of discussions.


Data we may retain and why

We may retain certain information after account deletion when we have a legitimate reason or are required to do so, for example:

  • Transaction and payment records (e.g., invoices, receipts, tax and accounting records, chargeback/fraud prevention)
  • Security, audit and log data (to protect our services, investigate misuse, or comply with law)
  • Legal obligations or dispute resolution (to comply with applicable law and enforce our terms)

Where retention is required, we keep only the minimum necessary data for the minimum necessary period (typically up to 7 years for finance/tax records, or as otherwise required by applicable law), after which it is securely deleted or anonymized.


Third-party processors

If your data was processed by trusted partners (for example, payment gateways, analytics or cloud hosting), we will forward your deletion request where applicable and instruct them to delete or anonymize the data they process on our behalf, subject to their legal obligations.


Can I delete some data without deleting my account?

You can manually remove certain content (e.g., uploaded files or posts) from within your account. At this time, we do not offer a separate self-service flow to request deletion of specific server-side data while keeping the account active.
